Welcome, Thamie!

Summer Santa is excited to have Thamie Julius join the board.  Thamie brings years of experience working in the banking industry, which will help Summer Santa continue our dedication to being extremely thoughtful in how we spend money outside our program services.  She is passionate about helping children in need.  As a child of immigrants, she learned about the importance of hard work and financial responsibility, but her family didn’t always have a lot left over for extras.  She wants to help other children experience the joys of summer camp and the confidence of starting the first day of school with new clothes, a backpack full of supplies, and books to enjoy.

Thamie has been learning about all that Summer Santa does.  She helped at the April in Paris luncheon and at the Medlin Carnival and looks forward to taking on additional responsibilities in the new year.  Thamie lives in Southlake with her husband, Chris, and sweet son, Nicholas.  She also has two dogs, Gracie and Vivi, and we are grateful to have her as part of our board.
