Communities Foundation of Texas’ North Texas Giving Day is an 18 hour online giving event designed to empower every person to help their community by supporting local non-profits and the causes they care about in one easy-to-use platform. On the 10th anniversary of this community-wide event, here are 10 reasons to give to Summer Santa on NTGD:

  1. Giving feels good
  2. Giving makes a difference
  3. Giving is FUN!
  4. Your gift matters
  5. Your gift changes lives
  6. Just “cause”
  7. Giving is contagious
  8. To be a part of something bigger
  9. To make tomorrow better
  10. To build a stronger North Texas for all!

Summer Santa, Inc. strives to enrich and nurture the well- being of the children of Northeast Tarrant County experiencing challenges with life changing experiences. We provide School Shopping Days, summer camp for a week, free medical physicals, soccer scholarships and partner with numerous business to disburse in kind employee donations such as books, bikes, backpacks and wagons. Since 1997 over $1,000,000 in funding has helped over 43,000 children smile. All volunteer charity!

Children are not responsible for the everyday family challenges (abuse, death, loss of job, divorce, sickness, homelessness) that might be putting stress in their family life. Summer Santa, an all-volunteer organization with no paid staff non-profit, with its back to school shopping event, summer camp scholarship program, free physical day, sports registrations, toys, books, backpacks and school supplies donations for the summer strives to put a little cheer in the lives of the children of Northeast Tarrant County, Texas. Summer Santa participated in the 2013 – 2017 NTGD. The donations given by many caring people provided funding for children to shop for school clothes and sent children to a weeklong camp.

Help us make smiles today! Every dollar given is an investment in the needs of a child!
