BridgesWork – Library Event

Remember the first time you were able to read your first book? You held it and tried to sound out all the letters to make a word. You were so excited and could not wait to learn more about the world!

Summer Santa is providing this experience to our sister charity BridgesWork located in Euless, Texas. We have been collecting books for our Back-to-School shopping event at Kohl’s in Southlake for the children that we serve. We want them to have books of their choice to read before school starts. We created a library event with BridgesWork that helps under privileged children improve their reading skills during the summer. The children get to pick out books to help them advance their reading skills before school starts.
